Big Sky Carvers Rainbow/ Brook Trout Wood Carving Blank

This is an early 1980s basswood roughed out shape of a Rainbow or Brook trout.... It is 15 inches long and 6 inches high so it's a larger piece.
If you have ever wanted to try your hand at carving here's your chance.

Original cost in 1980 was $39.95 for the blank and eyes.

The hard work of roughing out the shape of the fish is done for you, just the detailing and painting remain.
The second picture is what the finished carving could look like mounted on a base.
